How to download Snapchat from Microsoft Store
Snapchat has finally made its way to Microsoft Store. The app has arrived as PWA– which means it will run and look as if it’s a mobile app. The PWAs usually resemble the mobile version of the app with similar features, without letting the user visit the app store and download it on the phone.
“ The app is built on the web version of Snapchat — which only launched a few months ago — and is powered by Microsoft’s Chromium-based Microsoft Edge. That means a tiny 1.4MB install size, and it guarantees that Snapchat is always up to date and has the exact same features as the web version. Since it works through Microsoft Edge, Windows will still treat it like a native app — including an app icon in the Start Menu, notification support, and more,” reports Windows Central.
Prerequisites:
- Windows PC/laptop running Windows 10/11.
- Microsoft Edge browser installed.
- Stable internet connection
