Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff, since his first film, has made a mark with his remarkable quality of performing stunts. Over the years, he has become a choice for filmmakers who wish to include some form of martial arts in their movies. Adding to his filmography now is Ganapath, the teaser of which was shared recently by the makers.
Ganapath – Part 1: OTT Release Date – When and Where to Watch
While only the teaser has been released, reports state that the OTT rights of Ganapath have already been sold. The film will first be released across theatres on October 20, 2023, post which fans can watch Ganapath (Part 1) on Netflix.
The team has planned the release, in Hindi, as a Dusshera special; however, it will also be dubbed and released in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada languages.
Ganapath – Part 1: Cast and Crew
Directed by Vikas Bahl and produced by Vikas Bahl, Jackky Bhagnani, Vashu Bhagnani, and Deepshikha Deshmukh under Good Co. and Pooja Entertainments’ banner, Ganapath (Part 1) will star popular names like Amitabh Bachchan, Tiger Shroff, Kriti Sanon, and many others.
The cinematography for Ganapath (Part 1) has been done by Sudhakar Reddy Yakkanti and the editing is managed by A. Sreekar Prasad. Music has been given by Sanchit Balhara and Ankit Balhara.

Ganapath – Part 1: Teaser and Premise
Announcing the film, Pooja Entertainment took to social media channels and said, “Aisi ek duniya jahaan aatank ka hai raaj, wahaan Ganapath Aa Raha Hai banke apne logo ki awaaz. Unleashing the magnanimous entertainer #GanapathOn20thOctober 2023! In cinemas this Dussehra. Pooja Entertainment and Good Co. production brings you a heady dose of action, thrill and drama, “Ganapath” starring Amitabh Bachchan, Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon.”
While the makers have not revealed a lot about the film, the report published online in Filmibeat mentioned, “Ganapath tells the story of a martial arts enthusiast who battles unexpected challenges to his dream career. He worked hard to become an even better version of himself by learning from his mentor, Amitabh Bachchan. The remaining storyline of this movie dealt with the challenges he encountered and how he overcame them.”
Ganapath – Part 1: Pre-release Buzz
The filming of Ganapath began in November 2021 and was completed in May 2022. The team has shot extensively across the United Kingdom and parts of India. Due to production schedule changes, the release date of the film was also changed from December 2022 to October 2023.

According to media reports, the dates were earlier blocked for the release of Kangana Ranaut’s Emergency. However, this announcement had irked the actress, who took to Twitter and said, “When I was looking for a date for Emergency release, I saw this year movie calendar is pretty much free, probably because of setbacks Hindi industry is having, based on my post-production timelines I zeroed down on 20th October, within a week T series owner Bhushan Kuma… announced his film on 20th October, entire October is free so is November, December and even September, but today Mr Amitabh Bachchan and Tiger Shroff announced their ambitious project on 20th October,ha ha lagta hai panic meetings ho rahi hai Bollywood mafia gangs mein”

It is being said that the release date of Emergency will now be announced only nearing the release.
