Samsung grabs the most eyeballs with its flagship releases of the year. However, the company’s mid-range and budget handsets, such as the Galaxy A series, are a big part of its quarterly revenues. Previous leaks have given us information on the Galaxy A34 5G and the Galaxy A54 5G. A new revelation from a reliable source now offers additional information on the two mid-rangers.

Steve Hemmerstoffer a.k.a. OnLeaks, has suggested that the manufacturer may release the two smartphones on March 15, just under two weeks from now. It must be noted, however, that OnLeaks appears to be uncertain about the claim’s authenticity, so you should take it with a grain of salt.

Considering the frequency of leaks pertaining to the Galaxy A34 5G and the Galaxy A54 5G, there’s barely any mystery left. But Samsung may pull some surprises out of the hat when it inevitably unveils the two phones.

Galaxy A34 5G rumoured specifications

Continuing the company’s tradition of outfitting sharp OLED screens on its mid-rangers, the Galaxy A34 5G will have a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen on board, paired with a 90 Hz refresh rate. A triple rear camera setup is rumoured, comprising a 48-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultrawide sensor, and a 5-megapixel macro unit. This would be complemented by a 13-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls.

Customers will likely find up to 256GB of internal storage and up to 8GB of RAM on the Galaxy A34 5G. Reports say the version bound for South Korea will feature the MediaTek Dimensity 1080 SoC, whereas the model launching elsewhere would include Samsung’s Exynos 1280 underneath. The latter would reportedly be available in a 6GB + 256GB configuration at launch.

Galaxy A54 5G rumoured specifications

The larger of the two mid-rangers could sport a 6.6-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED screen with a generous 120 Hz refresh rate. A 5,000 mAh battery is also being talked about for the Galaxy A54 5G, with 25W fast charging. In the camera department, the device could include a 50-megapixel primary rear camera with OIS, plus 12-megapixel and 5-megapixel sensors for ultrawide and macro capabilities, respectively. A 32-megapixel front camera could be one of the smartphone’s key features.

Lastly, both phones will have IP67-certified water/dust resistance and Android 13-based One UI 5.1 at launch. With not long left before the rumoured March 15 launch date arrives, we hope to learn more about the Galaxy A34 5G and the Galaxy A54 5G in the days to come.
