Redmi 12C’s new variant, offering 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, has been launched in India. To recall, the company unveiled the mid-range phone in March in the country. Following its initial release, the device was offered in two configurations. However, the new variant is positioned as an intermediate option between the existing 4GB and 6GB RAM variants.

The Redmi 12C is a 4G LTE phone that comes with key features, such as a big LCD panel, up to 128GB of storage, a large battery, and a mid-tier gaming-focused chip. Here is a look at the price of the Redmi 12C’s new variant.

Redmi 12C 4GB + 128GB variant price in India

The Redmi 12C’s newest variant, which offers 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, is priced at Rs 9,999. The two existing variants of the phone, such as 4GB RAM + 64GB storage and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage, are priced at Rs 8,799 and Rs 10,999, respectively.

The phone can be bought in shades like Graphite Grey, Ocean Blue, Mint Green, and Lavender Purple. The first sale of the new variant will be conducted at 12 pm on June 22nd, 2022, through Amazon, Mi.com, the MI Store app, and offline outlets.

Redmi 12C specifications

The Redmi 12C has a 6.71-inch IPS LCD panel that offers Full HD+ resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the Helio G85 chipset, up to 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM, and up to 128GB of eMMC 5.1 storage. The handset has a 5,000mAh battery that supports 10W charging.

The 12C comes preinstalled with the Android 12 OS, which is overlaid with the MIUI 13 skin. There is a microSD card slot onboard for additional storage. Its other features include a rear-facing fingerprint scanner, a microUSB port, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
