Motorola Edge 40 Neo India launch date has been confirmed. The brand will announce it on September 21st, 2023, in India. The microsite for the phone, revealing its key specifications and design, is now available on Flipkart.
The Edge 40 Neo will be the first-ever phone to feature the Dimensity 7030 chip, which is nothing but a rebranded version of the Dimensity 1050 SoC. The other highlights of the device include a 144Hz OLED display and an IP68-rated chassis. While the brand confirmed its India launch date, the company also launched it today for the global market. The Motorola Edge 40 Neo is equipped with a 6.55-inch p-OLED curved-edge display that offers a Full HD+ resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, a 360Hz touch stapling rate, 10-bit colours, and up to 1,300 nits of brightness. The phone comes with Android 13 with a layer of Motorola’s My UX on top. For security, the device will come with an in-screen fingerprint scanner, face unlock, and ThinkShield for Mobile.
The Dimensity 7030 chipset that powers the Motorola Edge 40 Neo brings support for 15 5G bands. The device is equipped with 12 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256 GB of storage. It houses a 5,000mAh battery that supports 68W fast charging. The company claims that the smartphone can go from 0 to 50 percent in just 15 minutes.
The Edge 40 Neo features a 32-megapixel camera on the front. The back panel of the device features a 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS support and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens that doubles up as a macro camera.
