Google has just concluded its Made by Google event, where the search giant unveiled its latest line of Pixel devices, including the vanilla Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro. While the devices retain the design elements of their predecessors, there are a host of upgrades in terms of software and internals. Google Pixel 8 Features and Specifications 

The Pixel 8 flaunts a 6.2-inch FHD+ super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 2000 nits peak brightness, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. Under the hood, it draws power from the Tensor G3 chipset paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.

In terms of cameras, the smartphone features 50MP + 12MP OIS rear cameras and a 10.5MP front camera. The device runs on Android 14 and offers 7 years of OS updates. It packs a 4575mAh battery that supports 27W wired and 18W wireless charging.

The Pixel 8 Pro features a 6.7-inch QHD+ LTPO super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 2400 nits peak brightness, and Gorilla Glass protection. Beneath the display, it also packs the new Tensor G3 chipset paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. It also runs on Android 14 and offers 7 years of OS updates.

Regarding optics, the Pro variant gets the new 48MP ultra-wide sensor along with the 50MP primary and 48MP telephoto sensors. On the front, it houses the same 10.5MP selfie shooter. Besides, the device gets its juice from the 5,050mAh battery with 30W wired and 23W wireless charging support.

Google Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro Price and Availability

The standard Pixel 8 costs Rs 75,999 and comes in three colour options: Hazel, Obsidian, and Rose. On the other hand, the Pixel 8 Pro costs Rs 1,06,999 and comes in Bay and Obsidian colour options. Both devices are available for pre-orders on Flipkart.
