Realme GT 3 visits BIS certification website, India launch imminent

Realme, the popular Chinese smartphone manufacturer, unveiled its Realme GT 3 smartphone during the MWC 2023 held recently. Although the company hasn’t officially announced the Indian launch of the Realme GT 3 yet, the device has been spotted on the Indian BIS certification website, indicating an imminent launch in the country.

The BIS certification listing screenshot reveals that the Realme GT 3 (with the model number Realme RMX3709) has been certified by the Indian BIS certification authority. While the certification does not guarantee a launch, it indicates that the device will soon be launched in the country.

As for the specifications, the Realme GT 3 comes with a 6.74-inch FHD+ AMOLED display that boasts a 144Hz refresh rate. The device features a single punch-hole cutout at the front that houses a 16MP selfie snapper. On the back, the device sports a 50 MP Sony IMX890 camera with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide angle camera, and a 2MP microscopic camera.

The Realme GT 3 runs on an octa-core Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, which is paired with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage. The device runs on the latest Android 13-based RealmeUI 4.0 skin out of the box. Finally, the device is backed by a 4,600mAh battery with support for 240W fast charging.

Although the BIS listing doesn’t reveal any other details about the device, the specifications, features, and design of the Realme GT 3 were unveiled during its launch at MWC last month.

Realme fans in India are eagerly waiting for the company to announce the official launch date of the Realme GT 3. With the device being spotted on the Indian BIS certification website, it seems that the launch is not far away. While there is no official word on the device’s price in India, it is expected to be priced competitively to take on other smartphones in its category. Realme has been making a name for itself in the Indian smartphone market, and the Realme GT 3 is expected to be another hit for the company.
